The Certificate in Business Management course (CBM) is one of the courses of the School of Business and Economics, Garissa University. It seeks to give students a foundation for joining a diploma programme and later climb up the academic ladder depending on the student’s goals and aspirations. So far this is the first certificate course since the initiation of the school and the university college at large. The course is structured to reflect the changing world by providing a firm foundation for the world of work both in the domestic and global scene. Necessary academic subjects, consideration of ethical principles and general studies should influence decision-making in a competitive environment. The programme is also intended to provide students with professional foundation tailored to policy formulation and practice in Global scenario.
